About me

I'm a self-taught artist working primarily in oil and acrylic, though I'm always exploring other 2D media—watercolor, ink, pastel, and whatever else sparks curiosity. While my professional background is in economics and IT, art has always been my true passion. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve found joy in drawing and painting—it’s the one thing that could always make time stand still for me.

Much of my inspiration comes from travel—both real and imagined. I grew up between Ukraine and Belarus. Every year I’d ride the train from bustling Minsk to my grandparent’s house in a small village in Ukraine for the summer. Watching the landscape shift from misty forests to sunflower fields remains one of my most vivid and cherished memories, especially now, when the world is so different from the way I experienced it…

I find beauty in the overlooked and the forgotten: a rusted truck on a quiet rural road, a leaning barn with flaking paint, a fog-kissed tree at sunrise, or an abandoned bicycle with bent spokes. These moments are my "gems", they carry stories that I try to bring to life through my art.

When I’m not exploring the world on foot or by bike, I travel through literature. I’m drawn to the shadowy tales of Gogol and the Brothers Grimm, the surreal mystery of The Master and Margarita, and the eerie storytelling of Stephen King. These influences often echo in my work—sometimes as a touch of unease, sometimes as a hint of hidden worlds just beneath the surface.

More than anything, I hope my work brings a sense of beauty, wonder, maybe a bit of nostalgia into your everyday life. Thanks for stopping by and letting me share a little of my world with you.

Currently based in Roswell, Georgia.
